ICE London
“Stronger together” is the motto of the next ICE London, and indeed, the 2022 edition displayed the power of this feature-packed gaming event, with record-breaking attendance that year. 2023 was no different, with over 40000 attendees and more than 650 brands from 150 countries spread throughout the globe, ICE continues to be one of the leading iGaming events in the industry. The 2024 edition is going to last for 3 days, from February 6th to 8th, and it will provide opportunities to share the latest technological solutions, observe rising trends, share experience and engage in networking. From games of chance, through sports betting to esports, ICE offers the complete experience covering both offline and online aspects of the industry. iGB Live!
An important event in the iGaming industry focusing on iGaming community operators, affiliates and suppliers. This 4-day conference provides great networking opportunities with some of the major brands. The event is characterized by a big variety of speakers providing insights on a vast array of topics, including how to optimize affiliate marketing campaigns for conversions, leading to better performance with affiliate programs. You will gain knowledge in the difficult and everchanging area of gaming regulations, and you will learn the best practices for affiliate marketing that will support the growth of your business. iGB Affiliate
Another variant of the iGB event with a focus on affiliate businesses (with no admission fee for affiliates!). The keyword “Latam” in the name of the event stands for Latin American – the region that is the focus of the event. During the two days, aside from the opportunity to establish valuable contacts, learn, and share experiences, there is also time for evening entertainment. It is an exclusive event targeting companies already operating on the Latin American market or those that are considering setting up a business there. The upcoming event is going to take places on 21-22 November 2023 in Rio de Janeiro.
SiGMA
SiGMA is one of the most well-known and largest series of gaming oriented events. It has several summits every year, in different geographical locations. The recent events’ list is as follows:
- Sigma Eurasia – 4-7 March 2024, in Dubai
- Sigma Asia – 19-22 July 2023, in Manila
- Sigma Balkans & CIS – 4-7 September 2023, in Limassol
- Sigma Europe – 13-17 November 2023, in Malta
- Sigma Africa – January 2024, in Nairobi
The SigMA group organized its very first event in the year 2014 in Malta, which is often perceived as the iGaming capital. There weren’t that many attendees at that time, just about 1000 delegates, but the event has rapidly expanded since then. The 2022 edition attracted 25000 guests from all over the world. It proved to be another excellent opportunity for presentations and networking. The group has been continuously adding new locations to its pool of events, and in 2023, it began its expansion to Kenya, Brazil, Manila and Cyprus. The organizers state that, aside from Cyprus, such regional events will have a smaller scope to better focus on the VIP audiences. The larger international events are planned for Dubai, Manila and Malta.
SiGMA is also highly present in international media. The organization boasts translations of their articles into ten languages, contributing to a large portfolio. They are also active through many different social media channels.
Big Africa Summit
This leading gaming event in Africa is scheduled for 26-28 March 2024, and will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event will be a particularly important one for the region, as it will focus on topics surrounding the much-anticipated gaming bill. Visitors may expect over 30 key speakers with different backgrounds – operators, advisers, authorities and investors, all related to the iGaming sphere in one way or another. The meeting will provide key knowledge, prepare visitors for the changes ahead, and it will offer networking opportunities. Canadian Gaming Summit
Senior executives interested in the iGaming environment of Canada should not miss the country’s premiere event – 13-15 June 2023 marks the next edition of the Canadian Gaming Summit, or CGS, which will take place in Toronto. During the three days, visitors will have the opportunity to network, find new business opportunities and gain knowledge. The overarching aim of CGA is to further support the industry’s growth on the Canadian market. The 2023 convention covers most if not all aspects of gaming for money, including casinos, lotteries and sports betting. It’s not all just about business though – all-inclusive evening networking parties are also planned in some of Toronto’s best locations. If you are a senior-level executive interested in the Canadian gaming market, you have to be there.
SBC North America
While CGS focuses exclusively on Canada, SBC Summit North America covers both Canada and the USA in terms of the iGaming sector. The 2023 event took place in May in New Jersey, which is sometimes referred to as the capital of games of chance in North America. The event provided opportunities for discussion on how to approach the industry’s expansion and on the new iGaming opportunities in the region. The numbers are impressive – 3500 delegates, over 1000 operators, 300 speakers and more than 60 exhibitors. SBC North America has been on the event map for 3 editions so far, and if you operate in the region, you should mark the next edition in your calendar (7-9 May, 2024).
SBC Barcelona
This is a global event where newcomers as well as the most important faces of the industry meet to share knowledge, engage in networking and form valuable partnerships. Everyone who operates in the gaming environment in some way will find topics of interest here – iGaming in general, casinos, sports betting, compliance, payments, marketing, affiliates, media, new technologies, metaverse and blockchain. If you look at the numbers, there is a huge difference between the Barcelona and North America editions of the event, with the Spanish global convention boasting 10000 visiting delegates, 3000 operators, 1200 affiliates, 450 speakers and more than 300 exhibitors with 38000 square meters of exhibition floor. The speakers will deliver over 80 hours of valuable content in the 8 available conference rooms during the three days of the event. Mark the days in your calendar – 19-21 September 2023 will be a huge global celebration of everything related to the iGaming industry.
G2E Asia
Last but not least – the Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia, a branch of the Global Gaming Expo initiative), which is the leading gaming-entertainment conference for the Asian market. It’s also one of the longest running events of this kind, with its first edition premiering in 2007 and quickly becoming the leading convention for this part of the world. It offers opportunities for professionals to shape partnerships, source new solutions, and to better understand the industry and its intricacies. The organizers claim that more than 95% of Asian casino operators attend the event every year, seeking opportunities to gain an edge over their competitors. If Asia is your target iGaming market, you shouldn’t miss this event. The 2023 edition is scheduled for 11-13 July, 2023, and it is going to take place in Venetian Macao, Macau SAR.
